Summary

This position is responsible for entering orders and data, resolving customer service issues, and supporting sales.

 

Essential Functions

  • Must handle and direct incoming calls from customers and co-workers.
  • Process domestic and international sales orders in Syteline for MC and SMT.
  • Responsible for retrieving orders from email and logging in to customer portals daily to retrieve purchase orders and update tracking status.
  • Responsible for sending credit applications to new customers and coordinating with Accounting on setting up new accounts, including terms or credit issues.
  • Must work with Sales Managers, Outside Sales Reps, and Customers on purchase order details, pricing, or revisions.
  • Work with the Accounting Department concerning customers with credit holds.
  • Generate Walmart Specific labels for all their unit shipments.
  • Access RetailLink and freight company websites to pull transit times for Walmart orders.
  • Generate Walmart Pulse Report daily to upload with tracking and current ETA’s.
  • Responsible for verifying account information, Salesperson Information, Commission Distributions, and territory codes.
  • Communicate with the Production Scheduler and appropriate Shipping departments to coordinate shipping dates and special instructions.
  • Reconcile recordkeeping spreadsheets and update required documentation.
  • Request freight quotes when needed for specific customers and credit card accounts.
  • Initiate RM’s for shipments damaged, lost, or transposed in transit.
  • Responsible for filing documents away.
  • Reception for Building 3.
  • Additional task as assigned by supervisor.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. 

     

    Physical Demands

    This is primarily a sedentary role; however, lifting, bending, stooping, and standing are necessary.  Mental alertness and long periods of concentration.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

     

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish), a plus
    • Order Entry experience
    • Infor Syteline expérience, a plus
    • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
    • RetailLink experience
